Jodie W. McLean is chief executive officer of EDENS, a nationally recognized retail and mixed-use real estate developer, owner and operator.

McLean was named president in 2022, CEO in 2015 and chief investment officer in 1997. She has been responsible for the development, redevelopment, acquisition and disposition of more than $20 billion in retail assets.

McLean serves on several boards, including Cushman & Wakefield, Wofford College and Milhaus. She is also a trustee of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and The Real Estate Round Table, and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network’s Liberty Fellowship, Class of 2009.

McLean holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and management from the University of South Carolina and a degree from the South Carolina Honors College.
