Assistant Vice President

Charles Wallace is an assistant vice president in Quantitative Supervision and Research in the Supervision, Regulation and Credit department. Wallace manages the Risk and Surveillance function, which focuses on researching, analyzing, and disseminating risk analysis and trends associated with banks throughout the Federal Reserve System.

Prior to joining the Richmond Fed in 2020, Wallace was a vice president at State Street Corporation and led an international team of data scientists. Previously, he was in the investment management field for nearly 20 years. 

Wallace earned his bachelor’s degree from Trinity College, and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.
